KU JON AFIKA POGULISA ANA AWO NGATI MANDASI?

REAL STORY : Eish, you won’t believe what happened in South Africa! A woman named Racquel “Kelly” Smith did something so crazy, even the judge couldn’t believe his ears. She sold her own 6-year-old daughter, Joshlin, like she was selling pap at the market! And for how much, you ask? Only $1,100! That’s like selling your child for the price of a secondhand fridge!

Now, the court didn’t laugh. In fact, the judge said, “I can’t find even one good reason to give you a lighter punishment.” So he gave her life in prison for human trafficking and 10 more years for kidnapping — as if life wasn’t already long enough!

But wait — she wasn’t alone in this madness. Her boyfriend Jacquen Appollis and their buddy Steveno van Rhyn also got the same sentences. It’s like they formed a “bad decisions club” and thought jail would be a good group vacation.

So, what happened to little Joshlin?

She went missing back in February 2024, in a town called Middelpos in the Western Cape. And until today, no one has found her. Police are still searching day and night. The police boss even said, “We won’t sleep until we know what happened to this girl.”

Now here’s where things get weirder.

Witnesses in court said Kelly sold her daughter to a Sangoma — that’s a traditional healer — who apparently wanted her because of her eyes and skin. What kind of Sangoma is this, collecting kids like Pokémon?

A neighbor testified that Kelly straight up confessed to selling her child. And another person, a local pastor, said Kelly was even trying to start a “Buy One, Get One Free” sale on her other kids last year — offering them for just $275 each! Imagine that! Children being priced like special offers at the supermarket.

Anyway, the whole town is shocked. The judge said the community is now “broken,” and people are struggling to believe what happened.

As for Kelly and her crew? When they heard the sentence, they didn’t even blink. Just stood there like they were waiting for a taxi.

Moral of the story: Don’t sell your kids. Not for money. Not for goats. Not even for free Wi-Fi.
