ENGLISH VERSION OF THIS
Government legal advisor Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda has said he will appeal the Constitutional Court’s ruling on the use of CDF funds to the Supreme Court.
Nyirenda told the Times that he will go to the court to hear the court’s opinion and interpret several of the court’s rulings.
This follows a Constitutional Court ruling that ruled that MPs should not be involved in the use of funds allocated to constituencies under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The three-judge bench of Justice Howard Pemba, Justice Eddah Ngwira and Justice Mzonde Mvula delivered the ruling as a Constitutional Court review body.
